Liverpool ready to bring in two stars as Klopp addresses long-running issue

Many of the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern couldn’t be more nervous ahead of this weekend’s clash with Middlesbrough, knowing their Champions League hopes are on the line.

While the Reds will be strong favourites for the clash at Anfield, the local Kopites in the bar know just how prone their side are to messing up in games they really should be winning.

So, at least there’s been some transfer reports emerge today in order to help take their minds off of it. According to the Independent, the Merseyside giants are confident of signing Fulham defender Ryan Sessegnon this summer.

The 16-year-old has been a revelation in west London this season, earning links with a move to both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, though the former are understood to think they can land him.

Left-back has been a long-running issue for the club and the report also suggests they could sign Hull City defender Andrew Robertson this summer, as they look to finally land a specialist in that department.

With Sessegnon still far too young to even enter the Tavern, many of the Liverpool fans here are delighted to see Klopp moving for TWO options in that role.
