Liverpool: Samuel Chukwueze can become Reds’ next attacking star

Liverpool: Samuel Chukwueze can become Reds’ next attacking star - Liverpool

It’s almost a terrifying prospect that Liverpool’s attack can possibly get any more dangerous, but Jurgen Klopp could do just that.

Although the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Daniel Sturridge are decent options off the bench for the Reds, they’re not exactly players who strike fear into the hearts of opponents like Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane do, but a recently rumoured player could change all that.

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are monitoring Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, who has been linked with multiple Premier League teams and clubs around the continent after a breakout season with the Yellow Submarine, scoring seven and assisting three for the first-team.

Signed for just £450,000 from the Diamond Academy in Nigeria according to Transermarkt, Chukwueze has quickly established himself as one of the brightest attacking talents in the European game, with his physicality for someone at such a young age making teams around the continent licking their lips of what the winger can become in the future.

With so many teams interested in the teenager, Liverpool must do all the can to bring Chukwueze to Anfield this summer to not only stop one of their rivals from signing a potential superstar in the making but to also craft a player who could one day succeed Salah or Mane on Merseyside.

Being able to play on both wings, Chukwueze would be an incredible option off the bench for Liverpool, with his rapid pace and physical strength making him a standout player from other wingers coming up in Europe, and with Klopp coaching him, there’s no reason to believe that the Nigerian international could one day become the next big thing for the Reds.

Liverpool fans, would Chukwueze be a good addition this summer? Let us know!
