It remains unclear as to whether Jurgen Klopp’s side will eventually land their man, but should they fail, Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez is a worthy option B.

At the tender age of 22, the defender has bags of experience having featured 32 times for his national side.
The highly rated defender has told Direct TV Uruguay it is his dream to play in the Premier League but that he would also be happy to forgo that to stay at Atleti.
However, with less than a year to run on his current contract, Atletico could be tempted to part with their back up player this summer.
