Following a tough away win at Crystal Palace on Saturday, Liverpool’s preparations for Wednesday’s clash with Napoli are well underway in what is a busy period for the Reds.
The Premier League leaders have a game almost every three days up until the rest of the month and will need to call on every single member of their squad as they battle in two different competitions over the space of just 24 hours before Christmas. Indeed, according to Paul Joyce of the Times recently, Jurgen Klopp will manage his senior players out in Qatar from December 15th during the Club World Cup Championships, while U23 boss Neil Critchley will take charge of younger players for the Carabao Cup quarter-final clash against Aston Villa.
Still, no matter the player, both bosses will seemingly have their pick of some tough players capable of grinding out results amid difficult circumstances – as they have done recently against the likes of Villa and Crystal Palace.
Well, news from sports reporter Carl Markham online would suggest that they’ll have a tough player at each end of the age spectrum. Indeed, according to him, veteran James Milner and youngster Harvey Elliot were the two players to brave the winter cold at Melwood by forgoing the warmer tracksuits and sporting shorts!

Menial perhaps but here’s how a number of Reds reacted.

Boss move from Harvey Elliott. When in doubt, do as Millie does.
