Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really looking forward to seeing their side get going in the Premier League this season with them away at Watford on the opening day.
The Reds are one of the six sides who will realistically feel that they can win the league in this campaign and if they can keep all their best players fit, there’s no reason why they won’t be able to.
However, it seems as though the potential for incoming players is decreasing and in fact it’s the potential for players leaving that looks to be on the way up.
Indeed, according to Diario de Sevilla, Alberto Moreno could move back to his old side Sevilla in this summer window before it shuts.
The Spanish full-back has not enjoyed much success at the club during his time there but he has at least impressed in pre-season to lead some to think he might have a good campaign.
However, if Sevilla do stump up a decent amount money our Reds punters here by the bar would sell.
Moreno has looked decent this summer in pre-season but there can be no doubt that he still has plenty to prove to show he is a Premier League level defender.
Indeed, like our punters think, it would make sense to let the player go if Sevilla can stump up a decent amount of cash to bring him back to La Liga.
