Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait to see who else their side manages to sign in the summer transfer window.
The men from Merseyside have had a fairly busy start to proceedings in the market with the likes of Mo Salah, Dom Solanke and Andy Robertson arriving but many feel they could do with a few extra names.
Indeed, our local Reds punters would like to see a new centre-back signed before too long – with Virgil van Dijk the name that they keep mentioning at the moment.
Meanwhile, they’d also like a leading striker to really help fire them to the top of the league.
Whilst we wait to see who arrives, though, it appears as though Connor Randall could be off to Hearts on loan from the club – as per the Edinburgh News.
For sure, it’s looking unlikely that Randall is going to play many games for the Reds this coming season and a move away could be ideal for him to try and improve on his ability.
Whether he can or not, though, remains to be seen and our landlord has decided to have his say over this potential deal.
A player who can either operate in midfield or defence, Randall would certainly be a handy player to have at the right club.
At Liverpool, though, he’s not really looked up to scratch so far and so a move away would surely benefit him no end.
For sure, the Scottish top flight is not as competitive as the Premier League but it is competitive enough and the experience he earns – should he move – could put him in good stead on his return to England.
