Former Arsenal player and England captain Tony Adams had his say on the current situation with the Premier League being suspended until further notice.
With the league tables also frozen, we still have no idea what will happen to all the teams that are at the peak of the mountain nor to those who are at the very bottom of it. Indeed, Adams believes Liverpool, who are currently 25 points ahead of the second-placed Manchester City, should not be crowned champions because the campaign is not finished and we should wait and see what happens next.
Here’s what he said for Sky Sports:
"I don't think you can give the championship to Liverpool."

Of course, it does seem a bit unfair towards the Reds who have been nothing short of sensational throughout the whole 2019/20 campaign, only suffering their first defeat recently.
Even though their dreams of a treble or even a double have been squashed, they can still practically smell the Premier League crown with the lead they have already amassed.
But in light of recent developments, nothing is certain just yet and the same goes for their title hopes.
Liverpool fans, what do you think about Adams’ verdict? Do you agree with him? Let us know down in the comments below!
