Liverpool weigh up £20m January raid on Brendan Rodgers

There are not many strikers the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern believe could actually improve their wonderfully fluid frontline under Jurgen Klopp right now.

While the injury to Philippe Coutinho has obviously rocked the Reds, the presence of both Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge on the club’s bench is a reassuring sight for our Merseyside locals.

Still, the Kop faithful have been handed further promising attacking reports today, from Glasgow Live

For they’ve claimed Jurgen Klopp is plotting a January move for lethal Celtic sensation Moussa Dembele, following his impressive start to life under Brendan Rodgers.

The Frenchman has notched an impressive 17 times for the Bhoys since joining from Fulham in the summer and is thought to have attracted the attentions of Manchester United.

Still, the report claims it is Liverpool who are ready to open the bidding, with a £20m offer reportedly being lined up for when the transfer window opens in January.

£10m up front is said to be what the Anfield juggernauts would offer, with the rest understood to be coming in through add-ons and the like.

It is believed Dembele would be in line for £60k a week with the club, though is thought to currently be happy at Parkhead.

Can you really see Dembele moving to Liverpool? Let us know below…
