Liverpool will be confident of heading full steam ahead in search of their first Premier League title, a trophy that has proved painstakingly elusive for the Reds over the years.
With the squad Jurgen Klopp has put together and the way his team are playing, the much-loved coach will know that it’s his title to lose.
In that case, nervousness may come into the equation, something Liverpool cannot afford to let happen.
January signings would, therefore, be advisable and even though there is just a matter of days left to complete some business, Liverpool could save the best until last.
If reports are to be believed (as per Gazetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira on Twitter) and they are trying to sign up-and-coming Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali from Brescia, Jurgen Klopp has to do everything he can to complete this deal.
Tonali, (who is valued at £13.5 million on Transfermarkt) has been sensational in Serie B this season, making a real impression to those potential suitors around Europe.
The likes of Juventus, AC Milan and Inter have already expressed an interest in the 18-year-old midfielder but, under Jurgen Klopp and with a move to Liverpool, his progression and route into the first team could be a lot quicker.
Liverpool are always looking for ways they can improve and by signing Sandro Tonali, they would definitely be doing that.
