According to a recent report from The Liverpool Echo, Fabinho will try to convince Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe of a move to Liverpool in the future. The 19-year-old ace lit up the World Cup in Russia this summer to help Didier Deschamps’ France win the competition, with the forward certainly doing his bit in netting four times for Les Bleus en route to just their second ever World Cup triumph.

And having excelled at both Monaco and PSG in the last few years, the £135 million-rated star (as per Transfermarkt) is without doubt one of the best young players in the world, and were Fabinho to somehow convince him of a move to Liverpool in the future, the Reds would take some stopping.

The Breakdown

Ultimately, manager Jurgen Klopp has already been busy this summer making important additions to his Liverpool squad ahead of a possible Premier League title challenge, with the likes of Fabinho, Naby Keita, and more recently Alisson making the move to Anfield.

All three of those additions have gone some way to filling holes that were somewhat exploited in the Premier League and indeed the Champions League last season, thus suggesting that the Merseyside giants have improved greatly and as such should challenge Manchester City for the title.

And were they to land Mbappe, be it now or in transfer windows to come, the Reds would take some serious stopping.

The 19-year-old is without doubt one of the best players in the world having produced the goods at both Monaco and indeed PSG in the last few years, netting 27 goals in 60 games for the former to earn himself a move to their Ligue 1 rivals, for whom he then bagged 21 times last term as they regained the French title.

And having added a World Cup crown to his already illustrious CV, Mbappe is only going to go from strength to strength, and with Liverpool already possessing one of the most lethal front lines in European football, they would be almost unstoppable were they to land the 19-year-old.

Between Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino, the trio netted an extraordinary 91 goals for Klopp’s side last season, yet the strength in depth in that department does appear to be lacking, what with Danny Ings and Daniel Sturridge the next in line.

Yet Mbappe would surely go straight into the first team to thus improve the starting eleven and indeed the squad as a whole, at the same time setting the Reds up for what would surely be a bright future at Anfield.

Thus, were Fabinho to indeed convince his former Monaco teammate of a move to Anfield, whether it’s soon or in years to come, the Reds would take some stopping.
