Having signed Sadio Mane, Loris Karius, Joel Matip and Marko Grujic already, the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been waxing poetic about the notion of an entire season under the stewardship of Jurgen Klopp.
While the German coach is just as noted for what he does on the training pitch, that hasn’t stopped the Reds fans propping up the bar talking about further activity on the transfer front.
Good news in that regard has come from reports in the Sun, claiming the Merseyside giants are on the hunt for a new defender.
Following the injury to Joe Gomez, Klopp is thought to be targeting a brand spanking new central defender as Anfield stalwart Martin Skrtel departs for Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
Sadly, it is the second time the promising young England under-21 international has been cruelly stricken by injury in his burgeoning Liverpool and is expected to miss the start of the campaign.
