Liverpool are in dreamland at the summit of the Premier League but there is still a lot to play for as soon as the new year begins.
Jurgen Klopp is edging closer and closer towards the ultimate goal as Reds boss but the league is far from wrapped up, despite being unbeaten and utterly dominant up until this point in the season.
The Premier League is renown for being a rollercoaster and the fact that any team has the power to beat anyone else.
With plenty of games still to contest as well, Liverpool must ensure they’re on top of their game in the hope of getting closer towards their ambitions.
In a bid to fasten that process, signing a young, talented defender like Malang Sarr would certainly be a sensible move for the Reds, as not only defensive cover but acquiring a star of the future.
Sarr, (who is valued at £15.3 million on Transfermarkt) has played brilliantly for Nice this season and has so far made 18 appearances in all competitions.
Helping achieve seven clean-sheets in the games he’s played, Malang Sarr has expertly shown his credentials and ability to become the top defender many think he will.
With a move to Liverpool, Sarr would undoubtedly become a better player quickly under Jurgen Klopp if he was given a chance at centre-back.
Considering the Reds have only conceded eight goals in the Premier League this season, Malang Sarr wouldn’t expect to walk into the starting line-up, however, he could start by being a fantastic backup option, playing in cup games for example.
Liverpool find themselves with an almighty chance to win the Premier League but they must improve first to ensure their squad is ready to do so.
