Liverpool have been one of the standout performers in the Premier League so far this season, with the race for the title already heating up.
The Reds invested heavily during the summer transfer window as they drafted in a number of players in areas that were seen as a weakness, which has definitely benefited them so far this season.
However, things haven’t been perfect for Liverpool in the current campaign as a couple of players have looked sluggish at times and are yet to really impress the manager. Indeed, Jurgen Klopp will expect a lot more out of some of his first team members, with doubt beginning to creep into his mind.
With that in mind, these TWO Liverpool players have already let Klopp down…
The Belgian has never really managed to get anywhere near a regular place in the first team in recent years, with Loris Karius establishing himself as No 1 in the last campaign and Alisson Becker in the current.
Indeed, it’s fair to say that his behaviour in the media hasn’t been good enough, which doesn’t bode well when you take his performances into consideration.
Alberto Moreno has been pushed out of the side by Andy Robertson ever since the Scotsman made the move last season, but it is fair to say that the Spaniard has done very little to deserve a starting place.
Indeed, Jurgen Klopp was a huge admirer of the left-back during his first season at Anfield, but it’s safe to say that he has not rewarded his boss with consistent performances and has clearly not done enough to enjoy a breakthrough in the current campaign.
