As if the Liverpool fans couldn’t get any more delirious about the Jurgen Klopp era right now, they have just been handed a monumental transfer boost, according to German outlet Sueddeutsche Zeitun.
According to the report, incoming Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti has made World Cup winning playmaker Mario Gotze available for transfer in Bavaria.
The 23-year old has rarely been used by Pep Guardiola this season and the Bundesliga champions recently signed prodigious Portuguese talent Renato Sanches from under the noses of Manchester Untied.
Due to the strong relationship Klopp carved out with the midfielder while both were at Borussia Dortmund, a move to Anfield has long been mooted as a potential landing spot.
Ancelotti is said to have told the German international he cannot promise him a starting berth due to the abundance of attacking talent currently plying their trade at the Allianz Arena.
Where would Gotze fit in at Liverpool?
