No chance World Cup winner would take a step down and join Liverpool – Agreed?

Reds fans here in the Tavern are hoping for a huge January window to get them back on target.

Liverpool are a team who have pulled off some unbelievable bits of business in the past, but in recent times they just haven’t lived up to their expectations. With criticism being highly aimed at manager Jurgen Klopp for the summer transfer window blunder of no centre-back, the German will need to be bucking up his ideas with January approaching.

Klopp has always been fond of expressing his thoughts through facial expressions, rivalling Phil Jones in the expression contest. The German has been somewhat displeased with their current position as it looks as if the only trophy viable is the Champions League, which is still a long shot. So for a team in need of some assistance, what better way than to acquire someone on the same level as predecessor Luis Suarez?

Rumors are a magnificent thing, you never know what to believe. But this past week in the Sun, Manchester City magician David Silva has been rumoured with a possible move to Anfield. For a man who’s been influential for City and picked up a man of the match performance in his last outing, it seems somewhat humorous that he’d drop down from first to a debatable Champions League spot.

With one of the most dangerous attacks in the Premier League, could there be a possibility of drawing the Spaniard in.. If they can pull it off this would be one of the greatest pieces of business in world football, after how incredibly effective his signings have been so far, can you write this off?
