Liverpool are showing signs of being real contenders for the Premier League title this season.
Jurgen Klopp after years of experimenting seems to have found a Liverpool squad that is now good enough to be threatening for those contesting the Premier League title. It will not be an easy challenge but the potential of losing flop Alberto Moreno could make things easier, with a better player arriving in his place.
This move away from the club has Moreno surprisingly linked with Barcelona by Mundo Deportivo, which could make room for a youngster to come through the ranks properly…
Liverpool finally see the back of Alberto Moreno
There is no hiding that Alberto Moreno has been a flop for Liverpool and despite a promising start, the Spaniard seems to have got worse every game since.
Undoubtedly the brilliance of Andy Robertson has limited Moreno’s chances of a first-team revival even less and the thought of getting some money back for him with his contract up in the summer would be a great idea for Liverpool.
Moreno move paths open chance for Adam Lewis
With the Spaniard reportedly heading out of Anfield, there might not be a need for Liverpool to bring a new player in, instead promoting a youngster to the first-team, like they did with Trent Alexander Arnold.
Adam Lewis is a youngster that would have caught the eye of Jurgen Klopp after a number of stunning displays for the U23’s. With his form earning him a place with the England U20’s squad, that might not be the end to Lewis’ brilliant achievements this season.
