Premier League new boys slap £12m price tag on international Liverpool target, could be crucial

With Alberto Moreno still at Liverpool, the Reds propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern cannot fathom how the Spaniard still commands a pay cheque at Anfield.

Following his dismal performance in the Europa League final, the former Sevilla attracted an awful lot of criticism as the bar-stool-experts continue to scour the net for rumours and reports linking them with replacements.

One of those in particular is Hull City defender Andy Robertson, who has impressed since moving to England from Dundee United in 2014.

The Tigers, newly promoted to the top flight of course, have slapped a whopping £12m price tag on the 22-year old, according to the Daily Mirror.

Having bought him for just £3m, the potential sale would represent quite the profit for the Humberside outfit, though surely Steve Bruce would be loathe to lose him heading into a top flight campaign.

Ben Chilwell of Leicester City has been linked, though the Foxes’ valuation of him is said to be scuppering the deal from progressing.

Is Robertson worth £12m?
