‘Prepare to be a Reds legend’ – Liverpool fans online are absolutely loving striker’s tweet

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to a tweet from their club’s latest youth product, Rhian Brewster after he thanked the fans for his birthday messages and said he was looking forward to seeing the fans soon.

Rhian Brewster was a key figure in England’s U17 World Cup win last year and many Liverpool fans will be looking forward to the big future that Brewster has been touted to have at Anfield. At the age of just 18, Brewster has scored six goals and registered a further seven assists for Liverpool’s U23 side this season and the fans have been calling for the 18-year-old to be apart of Jurgen Klopp’s first team next season.

Brewster joined an illustrious list of Englishmen to top-score a World Cup last year when his eight goals at the U17 World Cup in India stamped his name alongside Gary Lineker’s in the record books. Brewster scored back-to-back World Cup hat-tricks against the USA and then Brazil in the quarter-finals and semi-finals on his way to winning the tournament as top-scorer. The Liverpool fans propping our bar up will be hoping that he can recreate his England form in a Liverpool shirt as soon as possible for the seniors as our local Kopites look forward to Brewster’s senior debut.
