‘Reason for Mane to be jealous’ – Liverpool fans react after club’s Twitter post

Reds fans here in the Tavern are disappointed after failing to secure the Derby Day win, in what was 90-minutes dominated by the home side.

Liverpool have enjoyed their best spell of form so far this season in the past couple of months, with a 10-game unbeaten streak rewarding them for their efforts as they look to cement a Champions League place.

However, one man in particular can be thanked for the current situation that the club find themselves in, Mohamed Salah. The 25-year-old has had his most profitable season in his entire career, on his way to becoming the Premier League top-scorer he’s acquired 3 LFC Player of the Month awards, 2 Goal of the Month awards, 2 UCL Player of the Week awards, and 1 Premier League Player of the Month award.

Having added this year’s contribution of 19 goals and 6 assists to his form from last season, Salah was gifted with the prestigious African Player of the Year award, which saw Liverpool’s club Twitter account congratulate the winger on his achievement.
