According to David Maddock, Liverpool are not, and never have been interested in acquiring the services of Jadon Sancho. Reds fans are far from happy with this latest update…
In a recent feature for The Mirror, Maddock claims the two sides locking horns over the Bundesliga starlet are Manchester United and Chelsea. Liverpool are reportedly ‘not involved at any level’ despite the recent rumours of the Merseyside outfit chasing after Sancho.
The 20-year-old was rumoured to be on Liverpool’s radar as a summer target, along with the likes of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz. Even with Sancho’s mammoth £100million price tag, Liverpool still looked to be in the running to bring him on board. However, this latest report debunks any idea that the Premier League leaders are interested, and are apparently ‘not even monitoring the situation as it stands’.
The fans who were elated with the link to the rising English star are naturally unhappy with the news, with one supporter branding FSG as ’embarrassing owners’ for not pursuing a move.

Signing a player of his calibre and potential for 10 years should have been our priority. Werner could easily turn around in 3/4 years and pull a suarez. Less chance with an english player who’s already played abroad.

We should be 100% going for him over Werner imo
