Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are gearing up for what could be a make or break game tomorrow whilst Inaki Williams, as quoted by Sportium in Spain, has addressed the rumours about a move to the club.
The Reds face Tottenham at Anfield tomorrow evening in a game that will surely define the start of their run-in to the top four places after they dropped down to fifth last weekend.
2017 has been poor for them both form and transfer wise, too, and so any potential deals for the summer are being lapped up by our local Kopites.
Indeed, the winger Williams has been linked with the club by the likes of The Independent in recent times and so his comments are bound to be of interest to our local Reds faithful.
The rapid wide-man said:
“There’s a lot of news coming out, but I’m calm.
“If they look at me it’s because I’m doing things right. I am privileged. If I have to leave tomorrow, I will always be very honest with Athletic.”
On reading these words our landlord reckons Williams seems more than open to a move to the Reds in a deal that would surely see the club’s forward line take a big step forward.
With the likes of Sadio Mane on one flank and the Bilbao man on the other the Anfield side would boast one of the most fleet-footed attacks around and that would be something to be behold.
