The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping their side will build on their recent good form and continue to move up the table after the international break.
Liverpool put in a clinical attacking display at the London Stadium on Saturday evening to claim a 1-4 victory over a struggling West Ham side. The victory saw Liverpool record back to back victories in the Premier League for the first time since August, and climb to 5th place in the process just 4 points adrift of 2nd place Manchester United. Mo Salah continued his excellent form on his return to the Premier League by both opening and closing the scoring for the Merseysiders. Further strikes from Joel Matip and Oxlade-Chamberlain made sure of the 3 points for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum controlled the midfield for the majority of the match on Saturday evening, and the Liverpool’s Twitter account celebrated the 1 year anniversary of the latter’s first goal for the club yesterday.
Wijnaldum’s goal arrived at the end of a sensational passing move that completed a 6-1 rout over Watford at Anfield, and his late impact has prompted plenty of praise on Twitter.
But there were a few stray voices of discontent amongst the plaudits for the Dutchman.
Here’s what the fans had to say about his goal on Twitter…
I’d sell him in January.

Underrated, under valued. He isn’t great but he works hard, plays with passion & always tries his best. I like him.
