Spurs in desperate attempt to scupper Liverpool starlet’s Glasgow Rangers deal

Jordan Rossiters

Tottenham have been a fountain of youth for the Premier League this season, establishing themselves as a top team while relying on a dynamic young side.

The likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Eric Dier have all impressed and can consider themselves virtual certainties for the European Championships this summer.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino puts a lot of trust in his burgeoning talent and the Argentine could be set to nab another from a Premier League rival.

According to Football Insider, Spurs have made a last ditch attempt to pip Rangers to the signing of Liverpool starlet Jordan Rossiter this summer.

The 19-year old is highly rated on Merseyside, though a lack of first-team action is thought to have made him seek other places to play his football as his deal winds down.

A move to Ibrox had seemingly been on the cards, though it is now said the North London outfit are trying their best to scupper that deal.

Still, they are believed to fear that negotiations between the talented teen and the Glasgow giants are too far advanced to make a difference.

Should Liverpool be doing more to keep Rossiter?
