The two wonderkids Liverpool fans will absolutely adore by the end of 2019

The transfer market has been Liverpool’s main source of quality for some time now, recently breaking that transfer record not once, but twice, buying Virgil Van Dijk and Alisson Becker.

However, with Klopp’s side hot on the trail of their first Premier League title in nearly 30 years, the German will be looking towards his academy to figure out which special talents can contribute towards future successful campaigns and help cement the club’s dominant position back on the English game.

With that in mind, here are two wonderkids fans will absolutely adore by the end of 2019…

Rhian Brewster

An obvious one to start with, Rhian Brewster is one of the best known talents in the English game thanks to his heroics during the under-17 World Cup, earning himself top-goalscorer and winner’s medal to boot.

Clearly, what’s most promising about Brewster is his finishing ability. The young man has contributed a very respectable 13 goals and 12 assists in 30 games at youth level. For us, this shows signs that the player is emulating the form and style of current starter Roberto Firmino, who is easily one of the most established “false 9’s” in world football.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Brewster is set to make his return following a lengthy injury spell that has seen him out of proceedings for 12 months, and with Klopp actively speaking about his return, there’s a sense of excitement over what this player can do in the future.

Ki-Jana Hoever

Another Dutch superstar in the making.

Liverpool fans will be hoping that their latest youth acquisition can follow in the footsteps of juggernaut Virgil Van Dijk, who’s been nothing short of incredible this season.

At the tender age of 16, Ki-Jana Hoever has already made his senior debut, turning out against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup last month. Although his team lost, Hoever did not make a fool of himself, arguably putting in the best performance on the day.

With all the hallmarks of a modern, composed, technically gifted, ball playing defender, Liverpool have really got a superstar on their hands.
