Ever so gradually this week, our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern have come to terms with what happened last weekend at Bournemouth.
For the Reds reading, we won’t go into it any more from now on except to say that it must have, surely, made Jurgen Klopp realise he has work to do in the January transfer window.
Indeed, he probably needed to get doing some deals in the coming window prior to the loss against Bournemouth with one of the tightest title chases in recent years really hotting up.
Here in the Transfer Tavern we think five clubs have a chance of winning the league and so any edge that can be bought in January would be more than ideal.
Our landlord reckons the key to a title challenge is squad balance and so, with that in mind, he thinks these two need to demand they go out on loan to help, with his first suggestion, the morale of the squad and with his second, the long-term future of it…
