The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been angrily responding to the news that’s been broken by David Maddock of The Mirror. According to the reputable Liverpool journalist, Jurgen Klopp has made the decision to stick with Loris Karius for the season ahead.
Jurgen Klopp ready to back Loris Karius – will refuse to panic in search for new keeper, still has belief in him despite CL nightmare. No progress with Oblak or Alisson, now prepared to go into season with Karius, and front up criticism. Full story: https://t.co/ry2PxItBg9

The Reds propping our bar up are only just getting over their Champions League final nightmares. Thousands of Liverpool fans travelled to Kiev back in late May, only to see their German shot-stopper, Loris Karius commit two of the biggest goalkeeping howlers of the season. The fans were all in agreement that Karius had to go after the game, but when the news broke that the German had suffered a concussion in the game, it’s given the German a lifeline.
The Kopites in the Tavern will be preparing themselves mentally as they have another long football season with Karius and Simon Mignolet between the sticks. Meanwhile, Liverpool’s rivals have all got stellar shot-stoppers. Bernd Leno, Hugo Lloris, Ederson and David De Gea are some of the best in the world in goal and it’s an area that has let Liverpool down for a long time since they had Pepe Reina on their books.

We'll win nothing next season then mate. Karius wasn't good enough before the CL final.

Whilst the Reds in the Tavern would love to get rid of Karius, the decision has been made and they’ll now have to reluctantly get behind their man.
