The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are still getting over yesterday’s incredible 3-0 home win over Manchester City in the latest fantastic European night at Anfield. Henderson, whilst speaking in an interview for the Liverpool website, spoke about the fantastic atmosphere for the game and the challenges the club face in the second leg on Tuesday in Manchester.
“That’s what our game’s all about, working together as a team, everybody, the whole XI.”@JHenderson on atmosphere, performance and the second leg https://t.co/YSqY8UNFDf pic.twitter.com/mKzr6Da0vD

Henderson received a booking for a challenge on Raheem Sterling in the second half, meaning he’ll miss the second leg of the tie at The Etihad on Tuesday. Liverpool fans will be confident they can ride their momentum and avoid a four-goal defeat without their captain on Tuesday as they look to progress to the last four of the Champions League for the first time since the 2007/08 season when they were knocked out by Chelsea in the last four.
If Liverpool can edge past Pep Guardiola’s footballing juggernaut next week, the fans will really start to believe that they can regain the famous trophy that was last at Anfield in 2005 after that famous night in Istanbul. The Reds propping our bar up had been nervously waiting for the City game, but after three goals in 19 minutes spun the tie in Liverpool’s favour, the second leg can’t come round quickly enough for those associated with Anfield.

Most amazing part of the game is… For a team of ManCity quality had "0" Shots on target .. Wow quite a defending.
