Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to see who arrives this summer at their club.
The men from Anfield are expected to be very busy as they look to sign extra stars to bolster their squad ahead of European competition and so it should be exciting to see who signs.
Indeed, they have been quick off of the mark in signing Mo Salah and Dominic Solanke and now it looks as though Andy Robertson is the next man to be targeted by the club.
Indeed, the Liverpool Echo, is of the opinion the Reds are keen on the relegated star and we think if they pull it off it could just be their best move of the summer.
Certainly, there’s going to be more expensive marquee-type signings in this window but Jurgen Klopp is well known for taking decent players under the radar and turning them into top talents.
Robertson, then, fits the bill perfectly with his age and ability and with him being a left-back he undoubtedly would provide a stronger option to what the club has at the moment.
Certainly, then, Reds fans will be hoping that he, if he signs, becomes a strong option for them to have in Europe and in the league and with the price unlikely to break the bank – it could prove the signing of the club’s summer.
