Liverpool: Fans lavish praise on Jordan Henderson for moment of quality

Jordan Henderson is leading by example this season and has been a key factor in Liverpool’s dominance of the Premier League.
The skipper has been ever-present with 25 league appearances out of a possible 26, and so often is the driving force behind the team if the Reds’ forwards ever have an off day, as they did against Norwich. Sadio Mane ended up scoring a fine winner on Saturday but the chance only came as a result of a long ball from Henderson, who has improved his productiveness in the final third of late.
He has managed five goal contributions in his last four league games (per WhoScored) and provided brilliant passes to put his side on the front foot. Henderson evidenced just that against the Canaries, and Reds’ fans have focused on one cross-field pass in particular due to its brilliance — with one supporter dubbing it as “sublime”.

There have been several plaudits for the captain, with one comparison to Xabi Alonso arguably the highest praise a Liverpool supporter could make, and that shows just how good Henderson has been this season.
Teammate Andy Robertson has called for him to win the Player of the Year and, if he maintains his current form, he has a good chance of doing exactly that.
Absolute filth really!

Liverpool fans, let us know who you think has been your best player this season? Would you be on course to win the league without Henderson?
