Liverpool’s attack will be taken to another level if Klopp starts this 25-year-old against Stoke City – agreed?

The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern were concerned when their side’s team news was read out on the tannoy in the pub on Saturday evening. Jurgen Klopp made the bold decision to rest a few his key players, including Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, against Chelsea – spreading concern amongst our resident Reds.

Fortunately for them, and Klopp himself, the players that were selected put in a good shift, certainly vindicating the manager’s choices. However, with the game now said and done, the fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking ahead to their side’s next fixture – a game against Stoke City on Wednesday.

It’s a game that the Reds will be looking to win, and there have been calls for one man in particular to return to the first team – Sadio Mane. Rightfully rested over the weekend, owing to his recent injury history, the Senegalese will be raring to go and ready to prove a point on the night, and that can only be a good thing for the Reds.

He’ll also inject some much-needed pace into the attack. Mo Salah was Liverpool’s only real counter-attacking outlet on Saturday, and Stoke City likely won’t be able to cope with the introduction of Mane on top of that.

Jurgen Klopp has yet to really find his perfect attacking line, but one thing is for certain: both Sadio Mane and Mo Salah are definitively going to be featured within it. With the prospect of an Adam Lallana return on the horizon, too, Liverpool’s attack is beginning to look very exciting indeed.

He’ll be looking to add to his 3 goals and 2 assists in the Premier League from this season.

Should Mane return to the side this week, or does he need another day off? Vote below and let us know why!
