Liverpool’s relationship with Raheem Sterling goes from bad to worse

SterlingMetro have managed to get Liverpool fans even more irate here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they hear that not only was Raheem Sterling dropped from the starting line up, he was also abused by Liverpool fans.

Now as one of our regulars claims, that’s not exactly going to convince Sterling to stay, and should manager Brendan Rodgers stay true to his word and keep Sterling for the next two years, being booed by fans and getting constant abuse isn’t going to get the best out of the player either.

Sterling looks set to leave the club, with the decline in Liverpool’s season and performances shocking even their staunchest of fans, and should the winger claim he wants to leave in order to further his career and win trophies, we wouldn’t blame him, and frankly, Liverpool fans shouldn’t either.

Liverpool fans. Do you think that Sterling could stay if Brendan Rodgers leaves and a new manager who might actually win stuff comes in? Let us know your thoughts below.
