Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are tense once again after The Sun (subscription required) revealed that Jordan Ibe is the latest player to stall his contract talks.
The Reds youngster has been a breath of fresh air since returning from his loan spell at Derby.
He has been likened to Raheem Sterling but now it looks as though he has taken another trait from the English international, as he has also hit a brick wall in terms of signing a new deal.
He has shown no fear on the field and he has impressed not only as winger but he has also put in the hard yards at right wing back.
Punters expected the youngster to sign a new deal because he currently earns £7,000-a-week and the deal he has rejected is believed to be worth £25,000-a-week.
Despite this news, it is expected that both parties will come to an agreement by the time the transfer window opens.
