After nine Spurs players made it to the World Cup semi-finals it’s not shocking to see that some of them are being linked with moves away from N17. However, according to The Sun, France and Spurs captain, Hugo Lloris could be set to make a stunning £60 million switch to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Hugo Lloris became only the second ever Frenchman to captain his country to a World Cup, following in the footsteps of his international manager, Didier Deschamps. The next 12 months will be huge for Tottenham and with such a high calibre World Cup-winning shot-stopper being one of the key leaders in the dressing room, a lot of fans will be expecting the Lillywhites to kick on and win some silverware in the upcoming campaign.
If Spurs were to cash in on Lloris then the fans would be in disagreement over whether or not they need a new goalkeeper. At the moment, Mauricio Pochettino has both Michel Vorm and Paulo Gazzaniga to rely on as their 2nd and 3rd choice ‘keepers respectively and the fans would probably be after a new number one in the short time remaining left in the window. Fortunately, though, the fans are all convinced that their number one won’t desert them so close to the new season.

Try £160M but still it's a no.

The fans are all confident that they’ll still have their man come to the end of the window, despite the supposed interest from Los Blancos.
