The Everton fans are gathered around the jukebox in The Transfer Tavern this evening ahead of tonight’s Capital One Cup Semi Final against Manchester City discussing reports that a senior squad member could be set to leave the club during the summer.
NBC Sports is reporting that Everton keeper Tim Howard could be set for the exit door at Goodison Park and make a move to MLS side Colarado Rapids.
Howard has spent the last 10 years on Merseyside after arriving from Manchester United, but it appears that some of the club’s supporters are running out of patience with the keepers mistakes just recently, especially during the last two against Chelsea and Swansea.
Our landlord says he will be sorry to Howard leave the Premier League as on his day he can still be one of the top keepers in it.
As for the Everton fans in The Transfer Tavern they are thankful for what Howard has done for the club over the last 10 years but feel the time is right for the big American to leave.
Everton fans, is now the right time for Howard to leave? Let us know in the comments below!
