West Ham United have started to get things going after a poor start to the season, however, one of their current stars still feels he can make improvements to his game.
The Hammers have managed to take four points from their last two fixtures, with a win against Everton and a hard-fought draw against Chelsea at the weekend.
It was the first time the Irons have managed to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League, something that delighted Lukasz Fabianski.
“I’m happy to get the first clean sheet because I’ve waited for that since the summer,” he said.
“Saves are one part of the game, but there are still a few things that need to improve, especially when it comes to the kicking and distribution because that’s something that has to be better from my side.”
Without Fabianski, West Ham could have found themselves in a whole lot more of trouble this season.
The Poland international has been key in keeping the scores down with fine saves, although the fact that he is not happy with his own game could only help to benefit the Hammers that much more this year.
Playing from the back has appeared to become extremely important to a number of sides in the past and should the goalkeeper be able to improve on those aspects of his game, it will make West Ham an even more dangerous side.
