According to the Express, Carlo Ancelotti is determined to make Javier Hernandez’s current loan move permanent but Madrid want the Red Devils to lower their £17m asking price.
It is thought Los Blancos are willing to agree on £12m for the striker’s services and Ancelotti is aware that United will be desperate to offload Hernandez to pave the way to make Radamel Falcao’s move permanent.
The Mexican striker is currently on a season-long loan at the Bernabeu and he has settled into life in Spain seamlessly.
Punters in the Tavern have always been long admirers of the Hernandez and believe it was a shame he was never truly given a great opportunity at Old Trafford.
And over the years when he was called upon he gave his all for the club and most of the time he managed to make the most of his opportunity.
And they feel this signing could be a stroke of genius from Ancelotti if he able to draft in the 26-year-old for a fee around £10m.
Manchester United fans. Do you think Louis van Gaal would be able to hold out for £17m for Javier Hernandez? Let us know your thoughts below.
