The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to a video posted by their club’s official Twitter account. The clip shows Virgil Van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Alberto Moreno all attempting to score direct from behind the byline near the corner flag, with Moreno scoring a superb rabona effort after Van Dijk and Mane both failed to hit the target.

The Liverpool fans have been gobsmacked by the fact that Moreno managed to pull off the trick whilst both Van Dijk and Mane fell short. The challenge is made even harder for Moreno as the left-footed defender opted to wrap his left foot around his right and rabona the ball, as opposed to the other two who are naturally right-footed and have an easier angle.
Alberto Moreno has fallen out of favour at Liverpool recently. Whilst early season form kept him in the team, Andrew Robertson has been knocking on the door in his debut season and has now gone on to usurp the Spaniard on the left-hand side of Jurgen Klopp’s back four. Moreno has come under criticism in his years at Liverpool for being poor defensively and has been scapegoated on a number of occasions for Liverpool’s defensive frailties. Now though, it looks like he’ll be limited to mostly substitute and domestic cup appearances.

Robertson could do that with a rabona scorpion kick
