Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have long been praying for a homecoming of a player they let go too soon but it seems he’s found his feet elsewhere and does not want to come back.
The Sun says Paul Pogba will reject the advances of Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid this summer in favour of remaining with Juventus, as he looks to create a legacy in Turin after helping the club win their fifth consecutive Serie A crown.
23-year-old Pogba has long been linked with an exit from the Italian giants, particularly after Juventus lost last season’s Champions League final to Barcelona, but the young midfielder has suggested he won’t leave the club.
“I always try to grow and when the game does not try to impress the audience, play my football, I’ve always been like that. I have to grow up in trying some play at the right time, this is where I improve. I’m still young, seek perfection and hope to achieve it.”
Our landlord believes it’s the right call from Pogba, who’s been a shining light at Juventus, and believes he should stay put for a few more years at least.
