‘Make him captain’, ‘Machine’ – Liverpool fans leap to support of star man after Twitter post

Reds fans here in the Tavern have shared a slightly frustrating week as Liverpool supporters, but overall will be extremely happy with the way their side has accumulated a run of 6 games unbeaten, with the mood in the pub switching to become calm and collected.

However, a fair few Liverpool fanatics here in the pub have some harsh words to share with their surroundings, after two consecutive slip-ups have angered those die-hard Scouse supporters.

Last season’s summer signing Sadio Mane has been a hot topic over the past couple of games, but for all the wrong reasons after Jurgen Klopp decided to gift him with a place on the bench, in arguably one of the most important games in their quest for a top 4 place.

However, the Senegalese international displayed his own beliefs as he spoke after the weekends game against Chelsea via the club’s Twitter account, supporting the decision of team play opposed to the individual limelight.

Hearing such words of wisdom could entail the opinions from all angles fired towards both himself and the possible issues underlying their recent run of results. With all being said, take a look at exactly what these Reds fans had to say…
