Joe Hart has come in for a fair amount of criticism in recent months, with many Manchester City fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern unhappy with the regularity of the England keepers mistakes – a sentiment that Pep Guardiola seemingly agrees with.
Despite being a regular in the Manchester City first team for the last few years, Guardiola saw fit to drop Hart for the first game of the season, in what was an expected and controversial decision by the new City boss.
Joe Hart was harshly criticised after England’s exit from the 2016 European Championship, with the keeper facing particular criticism for a number of costly mistakes throughout the campaign.
Manchester City fans generally couldn’t agree on the news, with the decision facing mixed reviews amongst the City faithful.
