The Man City fans in the Transfer Tavern have missed Gabriel Jesus over the last few weeks. Whilst Sergio Aguero has been in stunning form in 2018, Jesus has been particularly impressive since moving to the Etihad.
The Brazilian has yet to play this year, having made his last appearance back in December, but according to Guardiola, a return is on the horizon.
Guardiola on Gabriel Jesus: "Today he is going to train with the group. It's good news. I don't know when he will be ready to be with us but the first step is to join the team for training. He did one or two weeks alone."

This is a big boost for the Citizens, especially given the significance of the next few weeks and months for Man City. In the Premier League, they can effectively secure the title with another few weeks of good form, whilst the return of the Champions League will demand as many bodies as possible.
Not to mention, Jesus has been in stunning goalscoring form this season when available, having bagged 8 goals in 12 Premier League starts.
Landlord’s Verdict
This is great news for Man City. Whilst Aguero is a great player, he can’t hold the fort alone, particularly with games coming so often over the next few weeks and months.
You’d expect that Jesus will be available to play at some point in the next few weeks, barring any setbacks, and so that should line up quite nicely with Man City’s fixture list.
