Manchester City will be desperate to improve on yesterday’s result as they failed to secure any points against Crystal Palace, which has forced them even further behind Liverpool.
The Citizens arguably have one of the strongest squads in the Premier League, but a dip into the January transfer window may be required if they are to catch Liverpool.
Indeed, it appears as if Pep Guardiola is wasting no time in preparation for January, as according to AS (via Sport Witness), an agent claiming to work on behalf of Man City has contacted Isco’s representatives to relay interest.
Interestingly, it’s understood that an agent, claiming to be working on behalf of City, has contacted Isco’s environment in recent days to relay interest from Pep Guardiola’s side.
And, much to the delight of supporters, it’s thought that Isco looks on a move to the Etihad ‘with good eyes’.
The Spaniard has struggled to work his way into Santiago Solari’s plans this season, so a move away in the January transfer window could be in the offing.
Isco, who is valued at £67 million (by Transfermarkt), has established himself as one of the best attackers in world football over the past couple of seasons, so the Citizens could reach another level if they manage to secure his services.
Indeed, with the Spaniard reportedly looking at a move to Man City with good eyes, perhaps Guardiola will be able to secure him quite easily.
