Manchester City will be desperate to improve on yesterday’s results as they were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Pep Guardiola has plenty to ponder after yesterday’s match against the Blues, with Liverpool now leading the race for the Premier League title. Although, it appears as if the Citizens are eyeing a possible addition, as according to The Express, Manchester City are eyeing a move for Cengiz Under.
The Spaniard has been impressed by reports he has received on the 21-year-old who is one of the lowest paid players in the Roma first team squad.
He is believed to be open to a move to the Premier League, but City aren’t the only team interested, as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also in the race.
Interestingly, the Turkish international is rated at around £50 million by Roma, and is under contract for another four years, but there is no sign of a pay rise which is leaving the door open for Guardiola to make his move.
Cengiz Under has the potential to become one of the best attackers in world football if he receives the correct guidance.
The international attacker has already featured 17 times for Turkey. He is open to a move to the Premier League and City could lure him away at some point in the near future, which would help their title push massively.
But, with a number of other clubs also interested in his services, they could face a big battle.
