An interesting story to kick off with today, with rumours emanating from Italy about a potential loan switch between Manchester City and Juventus.
No surprises over who’s on his way to Italy; Emmanuel Adebayor has already been very vocal over his proposed move to the Italian giants, having grown increasingly dissatisfied with life under boss Roberto Mancini.
The striker was quoted recently in the Independent as saying: “Roberto Mancini, I do not know what I did, but he never plays me. I am going to have a change of scene during the transfer window”.
However, until today it was believed that a permanent move was in the offing, whereas now it appears that Adebayor’s career at City is far from over. City fans may scratch their heads at that one… but how about the prospect of loaning Mohamed Sissoko as part of the deal?
It is believed that the former Liverpool midfielder will move the other way once the deal is completed in January. Can Mancini manage to squeeze another midfielder in?
