Man City one step closer to creating Europe’s most dangerous attack

Manchester City fans here in the Tavern will be desperate for their side to bring in a number of players this summer, with aims of securing the Premier League title once again.

The Citizens will be looking to hit the ground running once again next season after asserting their dominance last time out, with many of our local residents wanting to experience European glory. And, it looks as if Pep Guardiola is closing in on a big signing, as according to Sun Sport, Manchester City held more talks with Leicester on Friday in a bid to land Riyad Mahrez.

Pep Guardiola has stepped up his attempt to land Riyad Mahrez in a £60 million deal.

And, it’s believed that Manchester City held more talks with Leicester on Friday in a bid to land the Algerian star.

The 27-year-old is the player the City boss wants to freshen his attack after almost landing him in January. Interestingly, the Manchester club walked away from the deal over the Foxes’ £95 million asking price and the winger then sulked after the move broke down.

Manchester City are one step closer to creating Europe’s most dangerous attack, with even more talks being held in an attempt to land the Leicester City winger. Indeed, the Citizens already have one of the most dangerous attacking units in Europe, with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus. But, adding Riyad Mahrez to their ranks would help create arguably the most dangerous attack in European football, as the Algerian has already established himself as one of the world’s best attackers in years gone by.
