The West Ham United fans are gathered at the dartboard in The Transfer Tavern discussing news that a top four Premier League side are plotting a move for one of their young players.
The Metro is reporting that Manchester City are interested in taking Reece Oxford to the Etihad Stadium in the summer.
The 17-year-old has performed well when he has played for the club and some of England’s bigger clubs have now shown interest in the promising youngster.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are also reportedly interested in Oxford but it appears that City are the only club who have stepped up their interest in the young midfielder.
Manchester City are keen to add to their quota of home grown players for the new season and Oxford is one name they are keen to add to their ranks.
Those West Ham fans in The Tavern think Oxford should decline a move to any other club, as they see him getting more opportunities with them than he will get elsewhere.
City fans, is Oxford good enough for your side? Let us know in the comments below!
