Man City reportedly keen to agree fresh terms with £70,000-per-week attacker

The Man City fans in the Transfer Tavern are confident that their side has one of the best attacks in Europe…

With Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus leading the line, supplied by the likes of Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Bernardo Silva – Pep Guardiola is not short of options going forward.

Gabriel Jesus, in particular, has been a real hit this season – having immediately settled in to life in Manchester over the last 9 months or so.

In fact, he’s done so well that Man City are keen to reward him for his fine form – with the Telegraph reporting that he is ‘poised’ to double his wages. According to the Telegraph, Man City are preparing to offer him a new deal that will see his current £70,000-per-week wages increase drastically in an effort to not only reward his fine form, but also to ensure that his future remains at the Etihad.

The Brazilian is certainly deserving of a new deal, having started the season fantastically. He has already bagged 4 league goals this season, proving that he is the real deal.

With Sergio Aguero set to turn 30 next year, it’s clear that Jesus is the future of the club.

Landlord’s Verdict

Gabriel Jesus is quickly emerging as one of Man City’s most important players, and so a new deal would serve to reiterate that stance.

Electric pace, technical brilliance and lethal ability in front of goal, the Brazilian has it all.
