Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are reacting with mixed emotions to the latest piece of gossip they’ve heard, which gives them a boost in the market but also presents a new rival.
The Daily Mirror states Leicester City are prepared to cash-in on Arsenal target N’Golo Kante, as long as they can sign a replacement.
Kante has excelled in his debut season with the Premier League leaders, forcing his way into the PFA Team of the Year, and his side could secure silverware this weekend with a win at Manchester United, potentially sealing the title race with two games to spare.
However, there’s likely to be a free-for-all in the transfer market this summer to sign the top players from the Foxes squad and Kante is attracting a wealth of interest from across Europe, with Manchester City the latest club to express an interest.
Both Manchester City and Arsenal want to bolster their midfield ranks over the summer, after what’s been a largely disappointing campaign for both, and Kante is amongst the wish-list for both sides.
Where would Kante be better off, Arsenal or Manchester City? Let us know in the comments below!
