Manchester City continued to charge towards Premier League glory this weekend with a 3-1 home win over Everton.

The Cityzens look every bit the title contender and manager Pep Guardiola will no doubt be delighted with some of the football his team has been playing, especially with some key players missing through injury.

Indeed, the Blue half of Manchester has plenty to be happy about at the moment, and with the red half suffering, it's a good time to be a City fan it has to be said.

However, with some of the squad coming to the end of their shelf life so to speak, we believe City should be acting in the next few windows to ensure they bring in the appropriate players to take them forward and continue their dominance.

And one man we think would be a superb signing is French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, who has been in excellent form for Lyon this term.

Valued at some £35m by Transfermarkt, the energetic and tough tackling midfielder is the ideal sort of replacement for the ever brilliant Fernandinho.

The Brazilian is by no means done for, but City and Pep like to plan in advance, and getting players in who can replace some of their older stars in the coming seasons is going to be vital for the club.

Powerful, full of running, and a class act for an impressive Lyon side, Ndombele would be a superb signing for City if they decide to make their move.

City fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
