Manchester City are a force to be reckoned with in the current campaign as they continue to thrive under the guidance of Pep Guardiola.
The Citizens managed to squeeze past Newcastle United yesterday by securing a 2-1 victory in front of home support at the Etihad. Although, it looks as if Pep Guardiola has one eye on a potential swoop, as according to Don Balon, Manchester City are showing interest in Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
Manchester City are among the clubs interested in signing Paul Pogba.
It’s understood that Barcelona have now been alerted to the Premier League champions’ interest in the Manchester United midfielder, with the Spanish club still the frontrunners to sign him.
Indeed, the Citizens would be in dreamland if they manage to secure the services of the Frenchman at some point in the future, but this may be a long shot if he has any loyalties towards the Red Devils.
Paul Pogba is one of the best midfielders in the whole of world football, but he has struggled to enjoy consistency in the current campaign and is falling out of love with Manchester United.
So, the Citizens should do everything they can to secure the services of the midfielder at some point in the future, as the 25-year-old has the ability to take them to the next level.
Fernandinho is getting on with age so perhaps Pogba can be drafted in as a direct replacement for the Brazilian.
